Your budget will determine the ansewer to your question. How much are you willing to spend? Top of the line 33% bird can run you 5-6K.

Find your budget and back into it.

I think the Wild Hare Extra 260 is a lot of plane for the money. Like any other 33%er It would strech you into the mid 2's, but you cant build a 50cc er for a lot less.

http://www.wildharerc.com/Products/E...0/extra260.htm

The new Extra 260 is proving to be an agile lightweight-yet-rugged 3d performer in addition to its intended role as a killer IMAC plane. A new 260 recently won the 4 minute freestyle event at the Tucson Spring IMAC contest powered by a 3W75 single cylinder engine. Built stock this plane weighed 22 lbs. 5oz. One built by Greg Poppel for a review in RCUniverse.com with a BME 110 came in at 21.5 lbs.

Since this is such an extreme value we are offering a package deal. It includes;

Extra 260 plane, Hardware kit, and a servo package that includes 6 Hitec 5645 digital metal gear servos plus one JR 8611A servo (or you can substitute 2 more 5645s) for the rudder plus a 4" Dave Brown vortec aluminum spinner, nickel metal hidride battery packs (2x 2100 for Rx, 1x 1200 for ignition), 3 MPI charge jack switches, and a deluxe set of servo extension including plug-in sockets for aileron servos. It even includes a Hitec 425 BB servo for throttle.

Promotional price $1,395.00. Just add your radio equipment, engine, muffler and prop. Everything else is in there! Upgrade to 6x 5945s for $180 more. Add the 3w80X1 with Johnson muffler for $785, you have a competitive IMAC plane for under $2,200.
