Yes, you need to make sure your spinner is balanced

wuld i do that by runing it, and if ther eis to much vibration, shaving more off one side? trial and error? could this damage my engine quickly or is it more of an annoyance issue? i don't want to damage this saito.

well, forget this question. today my saito 100 backfired and blew the plastic spinner to pieces. i am now just going to go "spinnerless".

I buy my aluminum spinners from Tru-Turn. They usually have them already in stock for wide blade props like the APC and Menz. If not, they will cut them for you at an additional charge that is well worth it in my opinion. I saw that Troy Built Models custom cuts spinners too....

I just bought an ultimate style spinner from dave brown for my 1/4 cap today. They are custom cuttong it for $5 for my 20x8 NX and for another $10 they give you a lightened backplate. I tried balancing a spinner once.....what a PITA. I'll leave it to the pros.
