RE: need some torque roll help

I find both of those planes you listed pretty easy to hover/torque roll. Can you hover them? Is it just that the plane is not rotating? Anyway... Check your CG. I like to have mine towards the rear. Make sure you have 45* of throw on all surfaces. The plane will rotate in a torque roll quicker if you have a longer less pitch prop than it does with a shorter higher pitch prop. (12x6 rotates the plane slower than a 14X4) And most important of all....practice,practice, practice.
Hope this helps, now go practice:D

In AFPD Add weight to the fuse of plane (10 to 25 pounds on a 40%er) and crank up the sim speed on AFPD (120-170%). You can make it very difficult to TR on AFPD if you want. Also start with a plane that is a bit more of a handful to TR on the sim--some are very easy. I have found by increasing the difficulty when practicing on the SIM it has helped me develop my skills faster.
