F-90 Elevator set-up
Any suggestions on how to set up the elevators on my F-90. I currently have them connected to channel 2 & 5 with mixing set up on one of the optional mixing settings. I am using a Futaba 9 CAP and when I use the throttle cut the right elevator goes up. I'm not sure why this happens but there must be a better way to set this up. Any help will be appreciated.

ORIGINAL: leercguy Any suggestions on how to set up the elevators on my F-90. I currently have them connected to channel 2 & 5 with mixing set up on one of the optional mixing settings. What is the easiest way to do twin elevator servos? Use the ailevator function, designed for just this purpose. Plug servos into 2 and 8 Go to AILEVATOR Make the function active Test your elevator movement. If one is going the wrong direction, reverse the % for that servo (ie -100%). IMPORTANT READ ME: Do you want your elevator servos to also act with your ailerons? If NOT, you must reset the AIL3 and AIL4 numbers to 0. If you cannot use channel 8 for some reason, then you will want to use mix(es) instead. |
RE: F-90 Elevator set-up
I have a few planes set up on a 9C the same way you described. I don't have enough 8 channel RXs to go around. The 7 channels work fine on 2 & 5. There must be something set wrong if the throttle cut is affecting one of the channels. Is the link turned on or off on the P mix?

RE: F-90 Elevator set-up
Thanx Dave, now I know I'm not doing something riduculous. I found the prob with the throttle cut. Yes it was the switch.

RE: F-90 Elevator set-up
I'm trying to dial in a dual elevator setup on my Funtana 90 with a 7CAP and really just don't know where to start. I know I have to use one (maybe 2?) of the 3 available mixes, but nothing I try seems to work quite right. Trying to search for help but nothing yet. Any advice? Or will I just have to settle for a Y harness (or Y-reversing harness)? Thanks.
