Stingers

I have a 120 Stinger with a ZDZ 40 and have a blast with it.It will hover vertical and pull out vertical but not rocket out vertical.Stay with the 120.I moved my elevator servos one on each side below the hor. stab and the rudder servo on the bottom of the fuse in the rear and it balanced great. The plane will float in at a snails pace to land without a hint of stall. It is truly a fun plane. The downside:The stinger is an older design and not quite as precise 3D as say my 200 Laser with a ZDZ 60 and the plastic turdle decks in the kits are terrible way to go as they crack over time.I am thinking of foam and balsa replacements. There are fiberglass ones for sale but they are $.I like my Stinger anyway as it is fun and does great inv. flatspins. Which New Stinger ARF for BME 44?

Ill keep it quick. The bigger stinger will fly better that the smaller one and if you keep it under 20 or so lbs, there is no reason why it shouldnt have unlimited vertical

Come on now.

The BME 44 may be a great engine, and it may be alot lighter than the G62, but outpull it on a giant Stinger - in your dreams! :p
