Does the Edge like to pitch to the belly on vertical uplines?
I had a H9 Edge that would pitch to the belly in torkrolls, and it would also pitch very slightly to the belly in uplines. It might be that you built the plane with some stab incidence, and thats whats doing it. You might want to check it and re-do it if its not right. especially if you plan to use it for IMAC.

The Edge typically likes .5 to 1 degree of upthrust to fix this problem.

Usually, a pitch to the belly on an upline could be from engine thrust, horizontal stab incidence, etc. These are easy to sort out with dynamic flight trimming. The Edges I have flown did not show any significant pitching on the uplines (Aeroworks and Carden). |

A pitch to the belly in uplines can also be from too tailheavy. You should check the difference between uplines (power on) and downlines (power off). If it pitches to the belly in both, it's a weight balance issue (tailheavy).

By the way the Edge is a H9 and planning to use it for IMAC Sportsman. I should move the CG forward for IMAC. |
