Maybe this is covered in the 176 page post but...

Has anyone noticed coupling with the rudder to down elevator and maybe roll?

everyone has noticed, nothing to do but mix a little out and fly the rest by the stiks;)

You are too tail heavy. Move the CG front till the plane knife edge's straight.
