Madness 2 motor choice
 

Hi, Has any one used an OS 50 in a madness 2,and will it prop hang ok with this motor.

Yea, the OS 50 will fly it well. I base this off of flying the OS 50 on the orignal Madness and the Flip. The Mad 2 should be a little lighter then both of these planes.

The Weston 50T1 would be better in a 2 stroke, however expense. In 4 strokes YS 63 or the Satio 82 would be nutz.

To get a bit more power out of the OS, take the baffle out of the muffler, however do not put the tank on the CG, leave it in the nose. Go with a APC 12.25-3.75. It will hover it with that prop fine, it may not be a bullet out of a hover, but it will pull it out.

Thanks, I will carry on with the os for now but may give the saito a try later.
