Typhoon beginner friendly?

Hello, I think this 3D flying is awesome, but I was wondering is the Typhoon 3D very durable? My only expeirence with airplanes is I bought a HobbyZone Scout which in my opinion was a waste of money because I didn't even fly it for 10 minutes and it was broken. What I didn't like about it was the way they have the throttle and the pitch together is what I think was so hard.
Does anyone know of a better 3D RTF that may be stronger?

Sounds like you need a better trainer. Maybe make the 3D plane your second model.

What would be a good trainer? I don't want another HobbyZone plane.

There are so many to choose from. If you are looking for electric and teaching yourself, I think the Slow Stick is a good one. That may be a Hobby Zone plane but I've seen beginners fly them very well at my field. Otherwise, check in the beginners forum on here as there are many more trainers I'm not familiar with in electrics.

NO, the Typhoon is NOT a 3d trainer...
NOT that great at 3d but GREAT for the price...[8D]
ALSO VERY STRONG...
I would think it would be VERY HARD for a beginner...

As for toughness, it will take a pretty good slap to the ground if you flop it, but if you nose in or cartwheel you're breaking out the CA.
The good news is, parts are cheap. :D
