i have the chance to trade my cermark javelin 2 for a ultra stick 60size and both planes have never been flown what do you guys think

The Ultra Stick flies like most Sticks do. Needs considerable mixing from Rudder>Elevator>Ailerons and never a real solution as it changes with power setting. I had one and sold to a new club member as a second plane. With an OS 90fx it is a pocket rocket and a blast to fly. Just does it in a typical manner of the "stick" type planes. If you want to try aerobatics keep the javelin. Much smoother.

From what I've heard and read, the Ultrastick comes out to heavy to really be a funfly, and as EXCAP232 said, not very precise in aerobatic flying. If you just want to have fun and throw sticks around, and play with crow mixing, flaps, flapperons, spoilerons, etc. make the trade. If you want to work on your flying skills, make the plane move where and how you want it to in the sky, keep the Javelin. The Javelin should be a pretty good entry level aerobatic plane, just get the MDS running well. Make sure it has 3-4 head shims in it to lower compression, and be ready to land a very sleek plane that does not like to slow down.
