Awesome. I hope some day Iwill be able to do that. I am wondering if my CAP 232 1/4 scale can compete with that.. The only thing I observed was the cork screws were not in a vertical straight line. Will keep a leval nose for that proceedure or is it U did not enter it in your peoceedurs as a tru cork screw? Thanks for the show. Truly inspirational

What whaturi is failing to mention is he was doing this in steady 10 knot winds with gusts to 15 knots. For those of you who do not know, a knot is 1.3 miles per hour and our windsock is a 15knot windsock.

If you watch the walls, he was doing them downwind. In no wind, this plane just stands up instead of standing up and sliding 50 feet.

If you also did not notice, the year in the name of the video is 200 years into the future [X(] <SHRUG> Just goes to show you not to do this when you are wore out from a day at the field

Oh yea, this flight was approx flight 13 for him on this plane and we just got the engine running very well

Bill: Thank you for that. I did not memorize the video. I should have paid closer attention.

Since he did not post it, I'll embarass him some more.

This is a 7 minute compilation of 2 flights he did on June 8th, something like his 7th and 8th flights on this plane. If you listen carefully you can tell the engine is somewhat rich on the low end. It's also very overcast so the video came out somewhat dark but there are maneuvers in this one that are not in the one he posted.

I have a blast just watching him do his thing. I'm more of a precision person with some mild 3D skills but he is fun to watch and he has impressed quite a few people in our club and a couple of them are pretty good IMAC pilots

Anytime...Maybe this Sunday. If the weather holds and we (myself and two of my sisters) can rent a wheelchair van, we are planning on bringing my father to the field so I'll have the Ultimate, Cap and maybe the heli there since he has made it clear he wants to see them fly.
