Help, I cant decide.

I am near convulsions for a new plane. I really want to work on 3D aerobatics. I currently have no electric planes and do not know what to get. Of course all the advertising makes them all look good and fully capable of whatever you want to throw at it. Well I will call BS on that. So I ask if you have a 3D electric, Foam or balsa, tell me if it's great? Or if it is a total waste of money. For what I know (very little) I like and am looking at this one very closely... http://www.ohiomodelplanes.com/katanartf/ I appreciate your help in advance.

RE: Help, I cant decide.

Hi there, i can definatly recomend a mini 3dx foamy, this is a fantastic foamy and has served me well, i had it on the deck within a couple of flights, heck, even my 52 year old sport flying dad has had it 6 inches off the ground prophanging:D I use a het-rc micro 5 3d outrunner and a 2s1p 850 li-po, i would really recommend you get a 3s1p 850 li-po for this as the 2s1p is adequate but the 3s1p will give more grunt[>:]

hope this helps, cheers.............Flyjunkie

RE: Help, I cant decide.

Get a durable foamy--something that if you crash (when you crash) it is easy to repair. I have a Adrenaline 3D from Abel Hobbies set up as they recommend and it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
