GP Cap 232 / OS1.60 problem
This is a brand new set up and on the first run I notice I get air bubbles in the fuel line when I point the nose down. Leans out slightly with nose up, sputters and dies with nose down. Any suggestion? I'm thinking something is not right in the tank.
thanks |
RE: GP Cap 232 / OS1.60 problem
With all the cap threads, I'm surprised not get any any responses.... guess maybe no one else had a problem.
Next question, did anyone notice the tank location is a bit lower than the carb. I'm surprised the tank location was not designed to be in line with the carb. hope some has some input. thanks |

nuvaring
I don't have this plane or engine but there a couple things that could be going wrong When the engine quites do you see fuel stay in the fuel line or does it stop before it quites, like it runs out of gas? If it runs out it is just fine because that is suggesting that all the fuel had moved to the front of the tank and the clunck has no fuel to suck. Usually in the air, during a dive, the fuel will stay in the back of the tank. It is usually natural for the engine to increase rpm when pointed up. If the engine quites when pointed down and there is fuel still in the line you LS or HS might be two Rich Hope this makes sence Good Luck Cameron |

Double check the seat of the needle valve, make sure it is not loose, and dont overtighten it.I think mine was a bit loose(long time ago) and had some bubbles in the line.
