Yak, Edge or Extra
I have seen some comparisons between the Edge and Extra regarding various differences between these designs in the air. However, I have never been able to find anything about how the Yak compares to the Edge or Extra.....probably just have not looking in the right place. ;) I am looking at getting into a gas plane for the first time. I will be doing almost exclusively 3D with it. That being the case, which one of these three designs would the best for exclusive 3D? I realize that they of course all can do 3D, but I am not that interested in the precision aspects so I am willing to sacrifice that for the 3D aspect.
Thanks in advance. |
RE: Yak, Edge or Extra
ORIGINAL: Harleyflyer I am looking at getting into a gas plane for the first time. I will be doing almost exclusively 3D with it. Pick a budget first. Buy the best quipment you can afford. You budget will determine the size aircraft. Depending on the size, one design may have slight advantage over another. If you have 10 grand, Comp ARF 40 all the way. See how the budget thing works? |
RE: Yak, Edge or Extra
The TOC 30% Yak 54 with a Zenoah G62!:D I got purple but thats discontinued so there aren't a lot out there anymore. Mine is still in the box as I have just gotten the FunatanaX 100 to learn 3D on first. The Yak is a big investment and I want to know what I'm doing before I fly it.
