3D Kit Suggestions
Hi out there
I’m planning to enter into the 3D world, so I’m looking of a 60 size 3D kit, please just kit… I’m more into building kit than ARF. My back ground: I have been in RC planes for about 15 years, mostly sport and scale… so I do have the building experience as well as flying… Your suggestion is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!! |

MoJo 60! For beginer 3D Mojos are the best. They bounce when others would break. Want to see? Most of the glow stuff is Mojo!

Get the Carl Goldberg Super Chipmunk. It will do a bunch of aerobatic manuevers. It's a good kit to build and they fly great. Then when you master that, get a total 3D kit.

RE: 3D Kit Suggestions
I have a UCD 46 which is a 6 lb 3d plane. It flies well and does most 3d. I also have a Mojo 60 which is way better in every way for me. Some won't fly profiles that don't look real. Too bad for them. The Mojo is easier to fly and keep out of trouble than any plane I have flown and it will do anything I want. It is tough and never sheds its landing gear when I miss the pavement, like the UCD's do. My next plane is going to be another Mojo 60. BTW I have the Mojo 46 also and don't find it to be that wonderful for me. The 60 is a stable plane and my 46 is a little more loose than I prefer. THe Mojo 46 would be fine if I hadn't run across the 60.
