YES!! Id love to have a BIG Ultimate like that. As long as the surfaces are waaaaaaaaay bigger than need be, and it is super light with lots of wing area.

I want one suitable for a 500cc engine.. or a larger 86inch that an lesser expensive 80cc zdz engine provide great power for..

No, I would be interest in an ARF version that takes a 40-50cc gasser. This is the size available that most people can afford and there are no planes available. They already have them smaller and larger.
The DP 120 just weights too much with a 40 size gasser and not enough power with the RCS 140 or mvvs 160.
The new Hanger 9 and Aeroworks planes are too expensive and take big engines.

I went with a Moki 135 on the DP in hopes when I kill it there will be a bigger gasser available... zdz40 size would be nice

An Ultimate Kit in a size that is both affordable, and that is large enough to perform considerably better that its' samller cousins would be a great idea and would probably sell reasonably well. I would likely purchase one.

The current market has planes either too small to be seen well and perform properly, or of a size that requires a 6 to 8 thousand dollar investment to complete. This limits the number of kit sales to a relatively small few.

The manufacturers seem to have forgotten the modelers out here that either cannot, or will not invest in aircraft that requires more than $1,500.00 /$2,000.00 to complete. And even that is a little on the heavy side.

An ultimate for a 40-50cc gasser would be great. I'd definitly buy one. I'd probably still be interested in a little bigger one too.

Is someone really thinking of producing these planes, or are you just trying to get my hopes up?

Guys, a 86'' Ultimate would take a 120-140cc engine. The 74'' Ohio Ultimate loves a 100cc. If you guys want a it to be powered by a 80cc engine and want it to 3D like the big ones, it'll only have about a 70'' span. A 86'' Ultimate with a 80cc engine would hardly get off the ground, let alone 3D. I've got a 63'' span Ultimate on the building board that'll be powered by a ZDZ/FPE/Fox 2.4. That's 40cc's. It'll prolly be a bit underpowered too. I really don't H9's will be thta lively with a DA 150. Jordan
