U Can Do engine?
I guess I need to put mine on a accurate scale. But I am running a ST90 w/ moosecan, Hitec605servo, 5-JR 517 BBs stand 6chan RX, 1100MH Batt, switch, expert servo reverser, no cowl and wheel pants, and it hits on my fruit scale at just a little under 7.5lbs.
Yes quality of wood will make a differant in weight. It flys great with the weight, but if I could get it 1/2lb lighter would be better. When I hat the Saito91 on mine, it would hover about 1/2 throttle, and pull out was real slow. thats why I went with a ST90 for more power. I am waiting for it to warm up before I mount my cowl, to see how my UCD going to run with the moosecan. |

Your servos are super light. I'm using CF pushrods all around BUT, I've got all metal gears in the tail (heavy) and 605's in the wing. Only difference is the HS81 for throttle. Battpak is a 5cell Ni-Cd 1100 (heavy) and 4-40 rods for tail struts (also heavy). Now I'm wondering, how accurate is MY scale?
