is it possible!?
Has anyone ever seen someone hover their 4d plane, then use the rudder and the vpp to do a stationary cartwheel in the air? I was thinking about how cool it would look last night in bed and was wondering if you guys could do it or knew someone who could.

RE: is it possible!?
Yep, It's called a pinwheel and I know of one video where a 33% Edge 540 was doing it. You need loads of rudder holding power to do it
If you head over to the wildhare website and look throw the 33% Edge540 videos, one of them has it in it. |
RE: is it possible!?
I'm thinking that if you hit the rudder that hard from a hover, the plane will just "snap out" rather than make the pinwheal.
I've done a hover to a flip, (outside or inside flip) back to a hover. You are going to need a funfly-type plane to do this though! and flaperon. I will try the pinwheal today and report back tororrow. |

What would be cool would be to have a twin motor foamy and reverse one motor and keep one going straight. Bet that would make for a wild pinwheel
