Knife Edge Snaps

How do you do these? I can roll from knife edge all day, but I never can get the snap action. Thanks!

Really pretty easy---Hold your knife edge and as you make your pass add a quick ele/ail and more rudder as you release the aile/ele to nuetral ease back to where your rudder in-put holds your knife edge. Try this with your trans in front of you for a couple of dry runs and you can see how it feels and how to get your rudder back to where it needs to go and then fly a couple at a little higher altitude and you will get it real quick. Hope this works for you. Have fun.

Word of warning.... practice these at a HIGH (2-3 mistake) altitude for the first few tries. Several of my planes require that you release ALL controls after the snap; if you continue holding rudder, the plane will continue snapping. Be careful and try a few different approaches first before you do it low.

Thanks guys. So you're sort of interchanging the rudder and elevator from regular snaps. I got ya. I'll give em a shot this weekend. Thanks again!

Sortof, but you dont need much rudder or elevator to do a knife edge snap. Most guys just flick the plane. ITs really super hard to do a deep snap without over rotating, sometimes severly overrotating. Keep it up high and make sure you got it before you bring it down.
