Smoke On!
 

Ok i would like to put smoke on a super tigre 90 (with "pitts" muffler) when i get it in a Extra 330. Ive heard of using the crankcase pressure with a high speed check vale for tank pressure, a needle valve to fine tune the smoke flow and a mini servo acuated vale, anyone try this.

I'm not the one that's going to tell you that your plane doesn't have the wing area to support the extra weight of the smoke system, so I'll just tell you what I use. I use the TME Simple Smoke pump and I run it off of my ignition battery. Nice and simple-plug and play. Since you won't have an ignition battery you could run a small 4 cell NiMh pack and be fine.

It is generaly said the glow 2 strokes don't create enough heat for good smoke. You literally have to rap the entire head with the tubing (pre-heat smoke mixture) and then must have it enter at the closest point possible to the crank. Is it duable, yes but just will not look as nice.. The other down side is smoke burns REALLY fast. You literally need a 10oz tank to last a entire flight. Alot of weight in most planes. But is it duable, yes. Just not as convenient as a large gasoline or 4c glow.
