hey ,
i wanna start 3D flying , i decided to buy Funtana 40 ,Spektrum DX7 7Ch with 4 DS821 Digital Sport Hi-Torque Servo and 1 Futaba S3003 Servo Standard for thrust , am not sure about engine should it be : O.S. FS-91 II Surpass 4 Tempos or Saito 100 Golden Knight AAC w/Muffler . i was thinking about saito 100 in case i wanted to go size .90 in the future but i dont wanna grossly overpowered.

Grossly overpowered = grossly overweight. You'll have to reinforce the landing gear block and firewall. Then you're going to have to find some oversized gear to give you enough ground clearance (I had barely enough with a 14X4W). Heavy torque servo on the rudder...
That Saito 100 is just barely going to be enough to fly a .90 size plane, according to the folks here, you're going to need a 1.60 - 50cc for that. I have found that overpowering and an overweight plane doesn't fly near as well as a lighter more nimble plane. I'd go with the .82.

but isnt the diffrent weight would be 63 grams , would it make that huge differnt

The difference isn't the weight ... it's the prop clearance. An .82 will spin a 14X4W prop just fine. Unless you add some larger gear, that's about all the prop you're going to get on a .40 size Funtana. That's not enough prop for the 100. You'd have to go to like a 14X8 or so. An 8" pitch would be hard to control in 3D maneuvers.
