Laser 3D HELP

I have a laser 3D that I got from a friend ready to cover I do not have the Instruction book can all you that have built this model tell me where the C of G should be for a good starting point also Control throws for normal and 3D flight. I have a Laser 70 engine in it at the moment but may change to a lighter engine if I can't get the C of G without adding tail weight.
Thanks in advance.

Laser 3D HELP

Hi Steve! It's a great airplane. You'll love it. I've got mine balanced right behind the leading edge sheeting. About 1 thumbs width. 3D throws are all the servo will allow, and standard throws I've got set to 50%. It's very manageable.

Laser 3D HELP

Hi Steve-
I'm running a YS 63, 20/20 fuel and a 13x4 Wide APC prop.
I'm using a Hitec SuperSlim Rx (which I love!). I've got 2 HS-77 on the elevator, a 3004 on the rudder, and 3004 in the wings. An HS-81 controls the throttle. All up weight is 5.1 pounds. I originally had planned on using a Hitec digital 5625 on the rudder, but I installed the 3004 temporarily while waiting for the digital to come in. It's been absolutely fine, so I've left it. I originally used HS-225BBs in the wings and stripped the gears on the 3rd flight, so I replaced them with standards and have had absolutely no problems. It's a great plane!
