Nitro'ing a Hyperion Cap580?

Look at the data sheet on it.. notice the blind nuts in the firewall and the beefy (looking) firewall/motor box.
It kinda looks like it was intended for glow.
It got me to wondering if a 46 (or more) would fit inside the cowl lenth-wise?
Also lists 4-5lbs.. not bad.

Sure is a good looking plane.
Nice airfoiled tail too.

Yea, its up in the $200's.
I have not yet found another "very nice" Cap in the 46 size range, so it got me to thinking...

I put a 46fx on the 40e yak. It flys great with it. Came out right at 5lbs. I put covering on the firewall and motor box area to fuel proof it. I'm very happy with it. I think as long as you didn't put a 4 stroke on it, you'll be fine. I'm afraid it would shake it apart. I've been wanting to try the 55ax on it for a bit more vertical. I think the big cowl robs a bit of the thrust.
