Spinner weight?

I am building a 3D plane and have a question. How much more does your average aluminum spinner weigh verses a plastic one? I would like an aluminum spinner but if plastic is lighter I will settle for plastic, weight is going to be very important!!

I am still looking for a comparison, average plastic spinner verses average aluminum. Anyone weighed both?

I use prop nuts on my 3D planes. Maybe not as pretty but it is the lightest solution. These are all Higley.

:)I'm with David on this. On all my glow planes I use a Higley prop nut. After you get used to them...they look kinda "funky". The can be started with a starter and are really light.
Thanks

Plastic is lighter, look for the ones that have tha backplate lightened, also, as a weight saving freak I have to suggest a CF landing gear and a lipo with regulator for rx, 7-9gms servo for throtle; that`s the places where you can save more besides of the spinner.
