new edge v3 omp problems
hy guys i bought the edge 540 47" v3 from OMP with a OS 81 FS
i flew it today but i dont like the way that the plane flews :S:S i dont know if i setup it wrong or waht happen because when i slow down de engine, the plane goes down very fast like if the nose was too heavy. Then i added weight in the tail, now the plane gets up and when i flew it inverted it gets up again, but when i slow down the engine it goes down like if the nose was heavy again... i dont know if the engine have a wrong angle because i make biger the hold of it. how can i know if is correct the angle of the engine Can anyone help me??? |
RE: new edge v3 omp problems
I have to ask, because you didn't say....
have you measured the CG?? WHere is it? |
RE: new edge v3 omp problems
i have one fo these, but i have an e set-up on it. i have great flight succes with it perfectly balanced on the recomended cg. one thing i have learned about this plane is this and have helped set-up several others, it like almost NO down thrust and a good bit of right thrust especially if your using an motor with lots of tourque!!! i will post of pics of mine soon!!

RE: new edge v3 omp problems
ocava, it sounds like you have some wierd thrust issues going on. Make sure the engine is not angled too much up or down. It should be straight with only 1 or 2 degrees right thrust.
