modeltech magic extra CG ?

I am asking for a friend.. He is wondering what the cg for this aircraft should the manual says 3-3.75" aft of the LE. To get to 3.75 aft cg he had to add 8 oz of weight to nose w/Tower .46. Does this sound correct or ?, where are you all running your your cg's.
Thanks

Just got mine flying last weekend. I am using a TT.46 Pro and had to add 2 oz's to the tail. Standard servo's and battery right behind the fuel tank. I balanced at the recommended 115 mm from LE, that translates to 4.5 inches.

plawrence45, I assume you are referring to the regular Magic (instructions: 115mm) , not the Magic Extra (instructions: 3 to 3.75").

rjmech: I'm currently flying my ME at 4.5", and will test it further back. When set to 3.75" you will not like the inverted flight characteristics at all.

I have mine at 4 inches and it is way too nose heavy.
