Best 3d CF pushrods?
 

I really put a lot of abuse on my Primo 60 and was wondering what pushrods and linkages you guys are using? Trying to keep things light, I was going to use Carbon Fiber rods and came across the pushrod ends at [link=http://www.connectorsRC.com]www.connectorsRC.com[/link]

They look really strong and light. Just wondering if any of you guys have bought any from them, and if they work as well as they look?

Price doesn't seem bad for the qty. Ive purchased mine from www.centralhobbies.com.

Oh yeah, those are inserts...I've had some of those actually come out of the rod before....I'm scared to use them on nice planes

Use JB weld and let sit overnight,some cleaning and a slight scuff beforehand will help with bonding.
I have done this for years,up to 50cc 3D planes.
Even after impressive crashes they held perfectly,even reused a few on other planes.

tmproff, I like your Sig!! If I'm not mistaken: "If you can read this, then you're overeducated." I like it ;).

Oh, and if you have any fears about using certain equipment on your planes....don't do it. It's NOT worth it in the end.

Yep, you are exactly right!

I ordered some Carbon Fiber Tubes from an online kite store. Price for 48" pieces were $4.50 (best I could find)
