MoJo MoAss Or Not
I am about to purchase the MoJo 60, but was wondering if I should purchasing the MoAss modification or not.
I am not a 3D flier, and don't really aspire to be a full blown 3D flier. I am getting the MoJo as a practice plane for my Yak 54 50cc plane. All I am looking for is something that is a blast to fly, and capable of doing most of the 3D maneuvers. I do some 3D, but none of the high alpha, or rolling harrier stuff yet. Would the standard MoJo 60 be best for learning on? If I did do the MoAss modification, would the Saito 100 be sufficient? Thanks in advance, Greg |

RE: MoJo MoAss Or Not
If im not mistaken i think they all come moass now. you will probably be better off building the moass anyway. it will allow you to take the steps as needed. the more you fly it the more you will like it. the moass mod make the fuse longer and surfaces bigger so even if not doing wild 3d the longer fuse helps it track better. i went moass and did not look back

custards1...Thanks for the reply and video.
Swanie still gets $10.00 for the wood and plans for the moass modification. Why the long sticks on your transmitter? Greg |
RE: MoJo MoAss Or Not
I just got rid of them lol. i did it about 7 years ago when i was onto more patten flying they use to be lots shorter and dad got that set made and did not know how long to make them so got them made over sized and i just never got round to cutting them short. after making this video we were going to cut them shorter but i just unded up using the normal sticks. so now im just going to use normal sticks. the tray helps out heaps and i dont like flying without it. sometimes i get nervuse and it helps to have some thing to rest on. and i find it allows for a more free movement on the stick as im not trying to hold the transmiter.
Ps the extra 10 bucks is money well spent |
