New Wing Concept

Hello everybody,
Iv'e been thinking of building an rc plane from scratch with perfect 3d in mind, and was thinking about the wing. I was wondering if the "stabilator" idea has ever been applied to the main wings (where the whole wing moves, instead of just the ailerons) which seems like it should greatly increas role rate...

Either way, any negative or positive thoughts and any ideas regarding this concept are welcome!

Here is wikipedia's stabilator page:

RE: New Wing Concept

Sig had a glider with a fixed V-tail and "wingerons" about 10 or 15 years back called the "Samurai" I think.  As long as the wing pivots about the 25% chord line, the aero loads on the servos will be small.  The wing will have much greater inertia forces but probably a non-issue.  Basically, there will be a weight penalty in the form of bigger servos and a little in the wing mounting.  Should work though.  Question is will it work better?  ;-)
