small control rods

Anybody know where to find some light weight pushrods for the 25 size electric planes? I prefer the ones with ball link ends. They need to be light weight like carbon fiber. The ones that came with my plane are just rods with z bends and servo savers. Not good.

I have no problem with metal pushrods that usually come with that size plane. I really think perhaps you are overly concerned with weight.

Actually I'm more concerned with the way the rods are attached to the servo. It uses one of those little fittings where the wire goes through it and a screw holds the rod in place. Seems like those could potentially come loose.

you are talking an ez connector. I only use them for low stress situations like throttle linkages. make sure one side is threaded and solder on either clevises or ball link adapters

Chewy:

Will tend to agree with you. Had the elevator fixture come loose yesterday but with enough friction to get it down safely, a small 30" foamy. A little thin CA and away we go. Think a little CA on all of them may be a good idea, or red locktite. The roughed up metal rod with Z bend wound tightly with strong thread and then thin CA'd seems to be the best overall solution. Have never had the attachment from metal to carbon fiber fail. (yet) ENJOY
