EP and Nitro powered 3D

Which power system is more capable for 3D? For example, the OMP Yak and PA Katana both have combos for the ARF and power system for $319.95. The Katana is Lipo Powered full body model where as the Yak is a profile Nitro. I've seen video of both models and their performance is unbelieveable. So if I'm learning 3D, is one easier than the other?

If you just starting to fly, the answer is learn trainer type flight first.
If you are beyond that, the electric will be more expensive to start with as you will need chargers and extra batteries.

I like the OMP ProYak better of the 2 choices given, it is far more durable than the Kat from PA.

That said, the absolute best 3D trainer is the lit built MoJo60 from [link=http://www.swanyshouse.com/mojo60/mojo60.aspx]SwanysHouse[/link]. It's size makes it a much slower flying and you're reactions don't need to be as fast. The ideal motor for that one is a Saito 100 or electric setup.

You can't get better advice anywhere on 3D or profiles than at http://www.smilexpress.net/photos/RC/probro.jpg
