Fellas,
mainly wanted to show off my Cap, but i do have a question. I have a Himax 2812-850 for a motor, and was wondering how 3D performance would be? I know the Hacker is the way to go, but this is what i have. Thanks! Craig |
RE: Cap
Hi, I have one of those motors on a pro model of mine, and it was awesome power.. that looks like a scratch built plane?

RE: Cap
John,
no, it's actually a 3D Foamy Cap! I got it back when Levi still had the bussiness. We bought a house and it got lost in the move, and i finally found it! So what did i do, put it together ASAP! I painted it with Short Cuts and all Hitech gear going in! Craig |
RE: Cap
Ahhh, ok.. It must be a very old one, as I dont see a GForce wing on it even. Have fun with it!!

RE: Cap
John,
yeah, it's a little over a year old. What's the difference with the G Force wing? Is it airfoiled? Fly more like a real plane than a foamy? Thanks Craig |
RE: Cap
Hi, yeah, Ive had 3DFoamy for over a year now, so it must be around 1.5+yrs old.. anyway the GForce wing is part of what makes the 3DFoamy foamies fly better than any others. Its semi airfoiled, and it works, the planes are light, and are not pitchy like others tend to be, and are stronger, yet remaining among the lightest out there for their size. Not a pro plane, but for example the supercap of mine, painted, with landing gear RTF minus battery is 15oz and has a 45" wingspan.
