I'll bet anything you'd never know by flying it provided it was built right. Beyong 10' wrinkles aren't even visible.

I'm not trying to pick on anyone here, but is your covering like this?

I don't think this one has ever flown. Plane ended up with a lot of twists in it. Structure suffered much damage during assembly (broken spars) and was not properly repaired IMO. I think the builder gave up on it but I could be wrong
