RE: Beginners FAQ?? We need your help!!!
From the aspect of R/CU as a business entity, I think it's very important R/CU also think about where-in the liability exposure lies. As a consultant in my last business, this was something I had to think about constantly. That is why many of my posts defer from actually making recommendations. There are really two very good reasons for doing this, one was just stated above, The Liability. The other (which is really even more important) is relieving the newcomer to the hobby from doing his/her own due-diligance. Many people like to throw their egos and opinions around to espouse themselves as true masters of this art. However, by recommending equipment and such, your not giving the new guy the opportunity to think on his own and answer his own questions. Remember the best teachers don't give the required answers but teach the student how to find the answers themselves.
