I'm building this for a warbird pylon series. I have sheeted the stab and only took the wing down to 48". As for the tip stalling I have a few rigging tricks to help with that. I have been flying a KMP Critical Mass for a year now and that thing lands like a lead brck if you don't keep your speed up. Come to think of it every thing I have has a pretty high wing loading. I want to try an RCV .91 4 stroke because that's what the rules allow me to have, and contain the engine inside the cowl.
