I know cost is a consideration but I have seend too many fathers bring their son to the airfield with something like an Airhog or a Cox the thing did not fly very well and they walked off never to return. I would suggest something like the Funtec Skyscooter the price is about 2 1/2 times what you want to pay but even seasoned flyers have fun with this plane. It comes with everthing needed , transmitter and battery. If you don't like it there ias always RC Universe swap shop or eBay. Try this link
