RE: Flying with floats
Add (Or remove) weight to (from) the floats so that the plane's CG is the same as it is in a wheel configuration.
Set the floats up so the Step is right at or within 1/2" of the CG and the TOP of the floats should be -2 degrees (Minus 2 degrees) incidence with the wing at Zero degrees incidence
