Hi all!

I'm going to be installing mechanical retracts in my GP Ultra Sport 40+ and was wondering what the feelings out there were on Hobbico vs. Great Planes (they are probably the same) vs. Dave Brown products. Up here in the GWN they are $39.00 for the plastic ones and about $70.00 for the DB units. The GP units are 1.9 grams each, and are plastic, the DB units are aluminum I beleive, but I don't know how much they weigh.

I am also looking for some way to finish the retract wells without adding a bunch of weight. The manual for the kit just says paint the wing cavity with thinned epoxy for reinforcement, but that leaves the whole cavity between the ribs and sheeting exposed to the elements. I've seen little drop-in liners as pert ov various kits that I've seen reviews on, but I've never seen them as stand alone parts I can order. Any ideas?
