RE: TT39 Problem
Well you should run it quite rich for the first couple flights. Burning up a glow or 2 at first is not unusual either as the piston and cylinder seat. However, at this point I suggest you either make sure you're not running too lean since it will cause it to overheat and lose power and/or take the carb apart and clean it really good to ensure you don't have any crap in there and try again. At least pull the needles out and clean them off.
To me it sounds like it's running too lean.
