RE: Standoff length for DA-50?
Thanks for your input guys, I am probably going to go for an MVVS 58cc pro engine as I can keep the throttle further closed than with a 50cc and so reduce the noise even more one of the guys on the QQ 85 Yak forum is using one but it looks as though he uses it at full bore most of the time physical size and weight seems to be about the same as DA50R but with 8HP so should not be a problem for fitting and with all that power to absorb a three or four blade prop at high pitch should quiten it down even more.
