Default RE: ASP .52 4 stroke questions

Not quite true. Magnum is a copyrighted barndname of Global Hobbies who is Hobby People. Asp and Magnum now are exactly what Royal and Magnum were in the late 80's. They were made by the same company but Hobby Shack owned the world wide rights to use Magnum and Royal owned the rights to use Royal products. Asp and Magnum were both sold in this country at the same time. Asp was made in red China and Magnum was made in Taiwan. Asp was the first major engine line sold here that was made in Commie China. Sold by Indy R/C. When Hobby Shack lost the Taiwan company (thunder tiger) they contracted with the company that made ASP. Oh Indy sold ASP and said that ASP stood for Acceleration. Speed and Power. How wrong they were.
