well i decided to try out the 5-port motor today (the one pictured in the post above) its a sirio evo2 5-port outlaw. anyway it started with no problem the high needle was closed to about 1/2 turn out it was way too lean to run so everytime i would give throttle it would die, after getting the engine tuned it starts and runs great for about 5 min but then after its good and warm (245 dgrees) or so it becomes very unstable it idles odd like speeds up and slows down and will then die usually when i hit the throttle after leaving a curve,
any ideas? i'm thinking the engine may be worn out as i bought it used and really dont know if its ever been rebuilt
