Yeah, I've seen some of those posts. Some say they are getting as high as 19lbs maybe with a little different prop. But I never seem to get what others do. My elevation is the killer. It really hurts. Also, I must be patient as the engine is brand new.

I was thinking the same thing as you though. I'm going to try a 17x6 and a 17x8 (I have both those props) and see if I get better readings.

The OS160 is rated at 9000 RPM for it's max horsepower of 3.7. I want it to spin right there if I can get it to. The 17x8 has my eye.

It shoudl fly pretty good with the 18x6 for now. As soon as I get a little time and the nerves settle a bit I'll go for more thurst and a bit more 3D stuff.
