If you are interested in a kit that will actually teach you things about building, get a SIG Kadet/Signorita. It is a labor intensive kit with a stick built fuselage, BUT, you will learn things from that kit that you would not learn from many other kits.

BTW - While the Kadet/Signorita is a trainer type plane it is a nice relaxing plane to fly.
