RE: Royal Bearcat
I have a Royal Bearcat that I have been fling for the last 4 years. I have a Magnum .91 four stroke in it because my son had given me one. It flys the plane fine and I found out that with a 14/6 APC prop I have much better performance than I do with a Master Airscrew. I won First place at the Mint Julip in fun Scale Advanced 3 years ago and took Third this year. It weighs 11 1/2 pounds and is covered with Ultra Cote. I have Century jet retacts with Robo struts and a Robart retractable tail wheel on it. If you like a Lot of vertical performance and put retracts in it you really need more power. It probably flys pretty scale like with the power I have.
