RE: giant profile
Here's mine, just finished it up. OMP 80" Edge. No kits were available at the time, so I bought an ARF. I wasn't really happy with the trim design, so I stripped most of it off and redid it. I really liked the look of Doug's (djccrn) Edge, so I used a lot of his ideas and just changed a few things around so as to not copy it exactly. The vinyl is from Time to Climb graphics.
It has Hitec servos all the way around. 5625's on the elevators, 6975's on the ailerons, a 5945 on the rudder and a 225 on the throttle. Power is by a 2.10 Moki with a 20 X 8 Bambula wooden prop. I have several different sizes of props to experiment with. Everything else is pretty much as it came from OMP.
Finished weight is 10 lbs 10 oz. I have yet to balance it, but I checked and it's pretty close. May be slightly nose heavy.
I'm hoping to maiden it sometime next week.
