RE: LRP 28 Spec 2 Trash???
I just think those connecting rod failures can happen in any engine. My HPI .28 did that with the bottom bushing, but gave the rod so much clearance, it cracked the crankcase on the bottom.
I have an STS .28 finished the 7th gallon in a Savage and when I pulled the backplate to check inside the engine, last week, the rod bearing looked just like new. Who knows, luck or STS's are really good. I have another STS .28 that doesn't have as much fuel through it, but works like new, every time.
