Default RE: anyone recognise this small fast electric?

just took it out.

went much faster than it did on it's old 540 stock motor and 8 cells with the bigger prop!!

battery was fairly warm but ok, close to it's limits tho.
motor was hot, but it doesn't have a cooling jacket or even a flow of air yet.
speedo had split it's shrink tubing! it's 40A rated and that motor draws 25A at the most, the battery can only give that.

speedo is always getting warm, don't turst that tornado at all, 40A my harris.

got at least 10 mins run time and pretty happy.
i'll see if i can get another of the small props i have thats missing it's tip, that should lower the power just enough and i know it fits.

now just gotta make it run ok.

currently it has a rudder mounted to the starboard of the prop.
when turning left it comes out of the water and acts like a wing turning the boat over.
it's ok on large right hand turns.

would making a twin rudder that sits either side of the prop further back help?
it's a deep V after all, should turn ok.
