I wouldn't do it either, I was just wondering, because most rc airplanes, powered by a battery can be hand launched.

My airplanes are way to expensive for me to test those things

Becasue my problem is, I have a great field right 200 yards from my house (Field: Half a mile long, Quater of a mile wide), but there is gras all over the place and it's not cut, so it's hard to get an airplane up from a "runway"
