Yes mine is set to neutral (throttle trim) where the brakes are not being applied while the car is idling in place. It took me a good while before I finally got my cars dialed in right and there were a few times I was getting frustrated. As I mentioned though, there is a ton of good info on here to help out and I have also found out that if you can't find what you need in the threads already posted, someone will always be more than happy to help you if you ask.
If your car is set the way you said where the brakes are mildly binding to keep it in place on the ground before you actually drive off then I would venture to say that you have a little more room to close up the idle opening gap (sorry, I don't know if that is the right name for it but that is what I call it

). Don't know if this is the right way or not but the easy way I figured to set mine was to adjust the idle screw to where it almost stalled the car without blipping the throttle then opened it up ever so slightly from there, and now it's set perfect for me. Hope this helps.
